What if an entire country could become an incubator of innovations that could optimize the health status of its population, while becoming a model for other nations in the world?

This was the question that the Ministry of Health and the Personalized Medicine Consortium (PMC) of Luxembourg decided to answer in 2012, in collaboration with the Ministry of Research, and of Finance. This effort, which involved leaders from academia, government, business and civil society, led to six ambitious flagship projects conceived to act as springboard for the transformation of health promotion from childhood, preventive services at all levels, management of complex chronic conditions and care of the elderly.
